Level One Assessment
Purpose
The Level One Assessment is not a graded assessment and no answers indicated within the assessment will disqualify a volunteer from participation in the program.
The assessment is designed as a tool for gathering information to then help connect resources to the youth and the community, that will best address the greatest needs, as a whole.
All answers to the questions within the assessment are considered confidential and will only be viewed and analyzed by approved program leadership.
Interview
Purpose
The Interview process is designed to introduce a volunteer to the Facing Giants organization and team, as well as provide an overview of the Young Emerging Leaders program.
It will allow leadership the opportunity to connect volunteers to the best fit opportunity, and explain next steps of the on-boarding process.
Train
Purpose
The Young Emerging Leaders program will guide youth through learning and expanding on leadership skills. This is done through a targeted curriculum, including coaching sessions and community engagement.
In order to be best prepared to lead and support these sessions, volunteers are required to complete program related training. This includes videos and other training sessions as scheduled.
In addition to program specific training, as an organization, we are mandatory reporters and therefore all volunteers must complete the below linked training, then provide proof of completion. This training helps support a safe and trusted environment for youth to learn and grow.
